The Mimbres Region Arts Council is dependent on its strong volunteer base to support a diversity of cultural events for our region. Whether it’s taking tickets at shows, designing murals with students, making gourmet chocolates for Chocolate Fantasia, or helping to produce music festivals, there is something for everyone! EVENT AND PROGRAM COMMITTEES
MRAC welcomes ideas, energy and diverse perspectives when planning our numerous events and activities. We need the behind-the-scenes people to ensure our events and activities are successful, consistent with our mission and move the organization closer to our vision.
The Internship Program at the Mimbres Region Arts Council offers hands-on training in a community based arts nonprofit organization. Internships are available in the following subject areas: Marketing, Social Media, Graphic Design, Finance, Education, Event Management, Writing and more. Interns participate in routine activities of MRAC, in addition to working on specific projects.
Interns must submit an intern application form, cover letter, resume, and a letter of recommendation from professor or previous employers.
