The Mimbres Region Arts Council is planning an adventure through time at this year’s CHOCOLATE FANTASIA in Silver City, NM on Saturday, February 10, 2018.

A variety of wonderful chocolate confections will be offered at dozens of Chocolate Stops in and around the Town’s historic district. Tasting tickets are $25 for 20 samples of different chocolate confections, also available at MRAC offices.

Over 30 downtown merchants and galleries will participate in distributing chocolates and offering our great old timey hospitality. Many will decorate in keeping with our Travel Through Time theme, opening the event to a wide variety of possibilities!

This year’s event starts at 11:00 am and will last until 4:00 pm. Empty Valentine boxes will be available for $2 each. Our Chocolate Fantasia Headquarters will be at Family Karate Center, 416 N. Bullard Street in Silver City.

Ticket holders can cast their People’s Choice votes for best chocolates and best business decorations on the back of their tasting tickets, and then, once they have finished collecting their chocolates, turn in their tickets by 3pm at any of the host sites.

Awards for best decorations and chocolates will be given out at Little Toad, corner of Bullard and Broadway, at our closing ceremonies at 4:30 PM.

Chocolate Fantasia is a wonderful mid-winter activity for lovers and for families. We invite you to join us February 10. Shop at our wonderful galleries, enjoy an excellent coffee, and enjoy Silver City’s great restaurants. Stay the weekend. You’ll be most welcome.
