Your Support Inspires Students!
The Inspire/Aspire Fund for Student Outreach continues into its fourth year with increasing success. THANK YOU! Because of the positive response by community members like you, we were able debut the Imagine That! - a traveling art museum for schools this fall.

With start-up funds from the Freeport McMoran Foundation, and Janey & Suzi, Imagine That! launched at Silver High School this fall. Students were able to view the works on their own in the school library or have a docented tour by MRAC staff. In addition, students were also able to participate in the Writer’s Eye competition, using art works from Imagine That! as inspirations for creative writing and poetry.

Celebrating Creativity and Student Success

Supporters like you have also recognized the importance of celebrating the creative achievements of our community’s students. Contributions fueled our ability to enhance and grow the K-12 Southwest Student Art Exhibition. Over 500 student artworks from Silver, Cobre and Lordsburg school districts were displayed through the collaborative efforts of Western New Mexico University and the Mimbres Region Arts Council. Cash awards, scholarships and keepsake ribbons were awarded to students. Your support creates and grows opportunities for students to grow and explore their creativity.
