May 22-24-2009. The Blues Festival is always held Memorial Day weekend.
Where is the Festival held?
The Festival is held at Gough Park in Silver City, New Mexico (Click here to view site map and directions)
How much does it cost to attend?
There is no charge for the Festival activities at Gough Park.
There is a $10 charge for the Kick-Off and also for the Saturday evening Jam Session. Both events will be held at the Buffalo Dance Hall on Bullard Street in downtown Silver City
What is the week end schedule?
Festival in Gough Park
Saturday from Noon to 9:00 pm in Gough Park – No charge
Sunday from 12:30 pm to 7:00 pm in Gough Park

What is the Blues Festival like?
Silver City draws thousands of music lovers each Memorial Day weekend with it's long-running Blues Festival. The open air event also features festival food vendors and regional artisans displaying and selling unique and often one-of-a-kind items. Bring the entire family Saturday and Sunday for two FREE day of top-notch blues performances in a park setting. Local businesses, galleries, and restaurants add to the downtown excitement with extended hours, a special Art Walk on Sunday morning.

Should we bring our children?
The Blues Festival is a family event.
Can we bring our Pets?
No. Except for service animals, pets are not allowed in Gough Park by the Town of Silver City.
How About Strollers and Wheelchairs
Only Stollers and wheelchairs are allowed in Gough Park. No bikes, scooters, roller skates/blades, dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, trucks, buses or small aircraft please. What will the weather be like?
For 14 years, the weather has provided a backdrop of beautiful pre-summer temps and sunshine. Evenings may cool down. So dress accordingly. Will it take place rain or shine?
The Festival goes on whatever the weather.
What should I bring?
Sunglasses, Sunscreen, A hat, Blanket or towel to sit on in the grassy areas.
You may bring low lawn chairs, but please be considerate of those sitting around you and don’t block the view.
A sweater, sweatshirt, or windbreaker for our Spring weather changes.
Is the Festival accessible?
The Festival’s Gough Park location is accessible for wheelchairs.

Where can I get information while at the Festival?
The MRAC Information Booth is located on the west side of Gough Park directly across from Wells Fargo Bank. You can pick up a festival program, area restaurants iinformation and other services.
I am an artisan and would like to have a booth. What should I do?
